Both the upsides and the drawbacks of the impact of AI on religious beliefs, traditions, and practices, and society more broadly, highlight the need for careful consideration of ethical guidelines in the development and application of AI.
We believe that faith traditions offer valuable insights in this area. As scholars and disciples, we have a responsibility to understand how technological changes may impact our religious community and its practices, and to explore how we can harness emerging technologies to improve the world around us.
