Latter-day Saint Perspectives on AI
Oct 04, 2025
Organized Intelligence: What is Organized Intelligence?
Organized Intelligence is a new initiative supported by the Future of Life Institute and partner organizations that brings together Latter-day Saint voices from across disciplines to explore the ethical, social, and religious implications of AI.
This years gathering will take place November 4-5, 2025 at the Offices for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Salt Lake, Utah.
We look forward to discussing and answering questions such as:
How can faith traditions offer insight into the ethical and spiritual challenges raised by AI?
What are the most pressing societal risks posed by advanced AI systems?
In what ways might religious voices contribute to shaping AI ethics and public policy?
How can AI be harnessed responsibly for humanitarian and faith-based purposes?
Additionally, we are pleased to announce this years Keynote Address will be given by Elder Gerrit W. Gong, of The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
